Tony and Rob would be so proud.” Graeme Park said: “Seven appearances at Castlefield Bowl? Really? This show is always very, very special and I really can't wait to return for another epic evening in July.” Tim Crooks added: “Haçienda Classical in the Castlefield Bowl is the highlight of my year and I’m thrilled to be performing for a seventh year to the best audience in the world. It's always an unforgettable experience.” The announcement coincides with BBC2’s transmission Saturday 5th November 2022 at 1015pm of the much awaited documentary “The Hacienda : The Club That Shook Britain.” This unique documentary tells the incredible story of a revolution which rose up from within the walls and dancefloor of a former warehouse in central Manchester, The Hacienda. The documentary charts The Hacienda’s cultural legacy and combines rare and unseen archive footage with first-hand insightful testimony from those involved during The Hacienda’s heyday, some of the ‘key players’ in the club’s history and famous club-regulars. 2022 marks four decades since FAC51 The Hacienda first flung open its doors back in 1982, transforming the run-down Central Manchester yacht showroom into what has become one of the most iconic and influential nightclubs in history. Considered the UK’s cathedral of house music and then epicentre of the “Madchester” scene, The Hacienda continues to inspire generations new and old, producing world class events that remain true to the ethos and integrity that guided the original club. About Hacienda Classical Hacienda Classical has well outperformed any expectations at the outset and has seen tremendous reactions from audiences and critics many of whom have awarded the show five stars, even at the very first Bridgewater Hall show, The Times gave it top marks declaring that "the atmosphere was incredible." Similar rave reviews followed from the first Royal Albert Hall visit as NME called it "Probably the best rave since 1997" whilst Mixmag termed the event. “a near two-hour blend of house music's greatest players with an audience dancing and singing from the off." Hacienda Classical has continued to receive 5-star reviews from the likes of The Independent - "It doesn't get much better than this. A powerful, poignant performance." - and its hometown paper, Manchester Evening News. "The Hacienda made Manchester the centre of the clubbing universe in its 80's and 90's heyday and surely what this night proves is that much of that success was down to the people inside it" Hacienda Classical's biggest single audience to date came as it opened Glastonbury's Festival's Pyramid Stage in June 2017 and other festival appearances including Isle Of Wight, Kendal Calling The Big Feastival, Kew The Music, Lytham Festival as well as individual concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl selling out on multiple occasions.
