Download Festival have announced the site will have major improvements for 2022. The festival takes place at Donington Park in Derbyshire, from Wednesday 8th to Sunday 12th June 2022.

Announced changes include:

The Village is moving closer to the arena, and will be on hard-standing ground, ensuring those in access camping can move freely between there and the village without leaving solid ground.
Walking distances around the site have decreased
There is a new East Car Park available.
A new Circular Camping option, with clean, upcycled tents and camping equipment available on site.
There will be 42% more accessible campervan spaces, now totally over 100.
In partnership with Trees for Cities, £1 of the car parking charge will now go towards tree-planting projects in Derbyshire and Leicestershire
All water bottles available on site will be made from 100% recycled PET.
Water refill points have been made high flow, increasing the speed at which water bottles can be refilled.

As well as the site changes, the festival will have many more DJ sets and late-night entertainment at The Village.

Campervan: £170

Teenagers aged 13 - 15 must purchase an adult ticket and be accompanied by a Parent or Guardian aged 18 years or over.
