We've got exciting news for this year's TGE Conference! Once again, we will be welcoming music’s leading experts who will be covering the latest industry campaigns, trends and developments - and what they mean for artists and their business partners in the year ahead - across a four-day conference running from 10 - 13 May at the Leonardo Royal Brighton Waterfront hotel in Brighton.

Additionally, we are proud to announce the new wave of experts and innovators, including Alex Lee Thomson, director of Green House Group, Bridget Whyte, the CEO of Music Mark, Eric Mackay, co-founder of imbr, as well as a very special In Conversation session with Roisin O’Connor, Culture and Lifestyle News Editor of The Independent.

And lastly, the popular Steve Strange Award will be returning to TGE for its second year. Introduced in honour of the late live agent and co-founder of X-Ray Touring Steve Strange, the award recognises a music act that is breaking through creative boundaries in the industry, with the recipient of the award receiving a cash prize of £5,000.

Tickets for this year's conference are on sale now, make sure to grab yours below if you haven't done so yet.

TGE CONFERENCE TOPICS ANNOUNCED

Three core strands of this year's TGE Conference will look at how the UK's music industry can continue to thrive in the global music market, how a new national strategy for music from the government could support this, and how the evolution of consumption is powering innovation in both deals and creation.

Music + Education will ask how the music industry can help deliver the new National Plan For Music Education, which is all about how online content and digital education platforms are changing, how traditional educators work alongside digital educators to deliver value as well as what skills are needed in the music business today - and what skills will be in demand in the future. Find out more about this strand here.

Music + Deals will look at the deals market, identifying how to best help artists achieve their objectives, how the evolution of consumption is informing deals around particular rights, what that evolution of consumption means for future digital deals, and how samples and interpolations are delivering new licensing opportunities for songwriters and publishers. Find out more about this strand here.

Music + The Creator Economy will see speakers dive into the creator economy, looking at the tools, platforms and services which enable collaboration and creation, the challenges and opportunities they present and what music makers can learn from the wider creator space to grow and monetise their fanbase. Find out more about this strand here.
