Barn on the Farm is one of the UK’s leading independent music festivals that is home to both the indie big-hitters and next year’s breakout stars. Offering attendees a weekend utopia of new music set in the idyllic setting of Over Farm, Barn - as it’s known by the regulars - is a festival that encourages collaboration and kinship by bringing together a community of artists and festival-goers. A place where friendships are born and songs have started life, Barn On The Farm continues to provide a cultural hub for new talent. Entering its second decade Barn has solidified itself as the festival that artists and revellers remember, and continue to return.

Today, the second wave of incredible artists for Barn’s 2023 lineup is revealed and confirmed to play their first-ever UK festival headline slot is New Jersey rock band, fronted by the eight-time Grammy Award-winning record producer and songwriter Jack Antonoff, Bleachers. Known as one of the best live acts in the world, having sold-out several headline tours and with three critically-acclaimed records, Bleachers have proven themself to be a global sensation. The official moniker of Jack Antonoff, who has been credited by the BBC for having “redefined pop music,” and has collaborated with the likes of Diana Ross, Taylor Swift, The 1975, Lorde, St. Vincent, Florence + The Machine, Lana Del Rey, Bruce Springsteen, Kevin Abstract and many more, which has seen Antonoff collect numerous accolades, most recently winning the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year in 2023 for the second year in a row. Barn on the Farm will be Bleacher’s first-ever UK festival headline slot, and one of only two of the band’s UK performances confirmed for this summer.

Also joining Barn’s incredible bill of emerging and acclaimed talent are brothers Will, Hugo and Felix White (The Maccabees) and Jamie Morrison (Stereophonics) as86TVs, enthralling soul-pop singer-songwriter Lily Moore, feel-good indie-folk artist Adam Melchor, Australia’s breakout star Thomas Headon, acclaimed-folk group Flyte, Scottish guitar band swim school, indie-pop band Carpark, midlands four piece Overpass, rising artist Cam Aspen, and coming down to the farm for a late night DJ set is Brit Award-winner Jack Garratt. They’ll be joining the likes of already announced stars Holly Humberstone, Dylan, Olivia Dean, Rachel Chinouriri, Tommy Lefroy, Wunderhorse, Stone, Katie Gregson-MacLeod & flowerovlove for Barn on the Farm’s twelfth year, with many more to be announced soon.

In its twelfth year, Barn On The Farm has grown from an intimate friends and family event to one of the UK’s most exciting and groundbreaking new music festivals, giving the biggest and most successful British artists including Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi, as well as breakout US stars like Maggie Rogers, their first ever festival headline slots. Such is the spirit and essence of Barn On The Farm, artists return to the festival year after year, making multiple appearances in ever-growing slots with returning artists having included Griff, Maisie Peters, Easy Life and The Staves. Barn finds artists early in their career and champions them all the way through the festival stages, providing a space of collaboration at Over Farm in Gloucester.

Last June, Barn On The Farm welcomed over 3000 festival goers to the farm, with a lineup that spanned some of the most enduring names in British music, including Bombay Bicycle Club and special guests The Vaccines, as well as incredible new talent including Easy Life, Beabadoobee and Griff. Capturing the spirit and ethos of Barn - a festival that has more in common with artist-led gatherings of the 1970s than modern, heavily branded events - every year Barn On The Farm encourages artist collaboration with the “Farm Band”. Getting six artists together to reimagine and rearrange their songs, last year Holly Humberstone, Dylan Fraser, Flyte, Maisie Peters, JP Saxe and Rob Milton collaborated for a surprise performance on The Wooden Barn Stage. Alumni of Barn include Sam Fender, Maggie Rogers, Wolf Alice, Tom Misch, Dermot Kennedy, George Ezra, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, The Staves & more.

This year, Barn is set to welcome its biggest number of festival goers in the festival's history. Founder of Barn On the Farm, Josh Sanger, comments:

"The Barn motor is totally fired up!! This is a year unlike any other - not only do we have Holly Humberstone doing her first-ever festival headline performance at Barn. We also have my favourite band on the planet Bleachers performing their first UK festival headline ever too. Now now now, if you don't know what I'm on about you sure will shortly and for those who know, oh my word. Jack Antonoff, the most prolific songwriter and producer on the planet, is at Barn. So I won't go into too much detail here because it's cool to keep my cool right? but the guy has won producer of the year at the Grammy's 2 years in a row and created albums with Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Lorde, 1975, Florence and the Machine amongst a ton of others. But anyway that's besides the point - Bleachers maannnnn. Tunes for absolute days - it's going to be like firing up a rocket on stage and watching it bounce off of all the walls. This is the most exciting I've been for ages. A band so true to what Barn values paired with one of our favourite artists of the last decade Holly Humberstone! This is Barn on the Farm and it just begins here. I'm going to be hitting you with more soon ;)

Also, there's going to be some surprises..."
