Emerging Talent Competition finalists announced

Glastonbury Festival are very pleased to announce the finalists for their EMERGING TALENT COMPETITION 2023, which is supported by PRS for Music and PRS Foundation.

The acts, chosen from thousands of entries, are: Cordelia Gartside, EVA, FFSYTHO?!, Naomi Kimpenu, N’famady Kouyaté, Prima Queen, The Love Buzz and VLURE.

As previously announced, Ezra Williams (FKA Smoothboi Ezra), who was forced to miss last year’s live final through illness, has been given a bye to the final of the 2023 competition, meaning for this year only the competition will have nine finalists in total.

This year’s invite-only final will take place on Saturday 29 April, 2023.

The winners of the free-to-enter competition will be given a slot on one of the main stages at Glastonbury 2023. They will also be awarded a £5,000 Talent Development prize from PRS Foundation to help take their songwriting and performing to the next level. Two runners-up will also each be awarded a £2,500 PRS Foundation Talent Development prize.

The nine acts were selected by Glastonbury judges from the longlist of 90 artists which was compiled by 30 of the UK’s best online music writers.
