Queens Of The Stone Age have posted an Instagram story suggesting that they may be on the line-up to play Glastonbury Festival - see the screenshot of the post below.
This may not seem a lot to go on, but the band have made a very deliberate effort to picture St Michael's Tower on Glastonbury Tor, which overlooks the festival site, and tag the location of Castle Cary, the town whose rail station serves as a major arrivals point for festival goers. Superimposed on the the tower is a poster which reads "Long Live The Queen". This is more the just a hint in our opinion and strongly suggests that we may see QOTSA grace a stage at Glastonbury 2023.
The band have just made a triumphant return back to the live circuit with their first full show in three years, performing at the Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio.
The band, who are currently on a world tour, only have have three official dates lined up for the UK so far, in Halifax (20th June), Margate (22nd June), and Cardiff (23rd June), for which you can buy tickets here. Following this, there's a gap of a few days until their next leg of the tour in Denmark begins on the 28th of June, which leaves a very convenient opening for them to play at Worthy Farm on either Saturday 24th or Sunday 25th of June.
