Rhondda Rocks festival is back for its third year at Porth’s Factory music venue in South Wales from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd August 2014, featuring a line-up that's a mix of local and national acts.

Headlining the Sunday of music across three stages are Cardiff based noise-rockers Future Of The Left, leading a line-up for that day which will include The People The Poet, Dingus Khan, Baby Queens, Mixalydia, Sweet Benfica, New Cowboy Builders, and Mock Thee Knott.

Having played last year Keys make a return headlining the main stage on Saturday, with , Threatmantics, Millie Manders, Fountainhead, Dead Shed Jokers, Kinky Boots, Heavy Petting Zoo, and Scott Howells also confirmed for that day.

The festival will host over thirty other bands and artists of varying genres. Organisers say, "Taking inspiration from the recent success of urban indoor festivals, Rhondda Rocks hopes to transpose that atmosphere to the post-industrial landscape of the Rhondda, localised in one of the Valleys’ most historic buildings, the Welsh Hills Works."

Since its incarnation in 2012, Rhondda Rocks has steadily gone from strength to strength and this year aims to offer an even bigger platform to upcoming bands and artists. The family friendly festival will have stages designated to comedy and showcasing acoustic artists from all over South Wales. There will also be stalls featuring local independent traders/artists, roller derby girls, exhibitions, arts activity and other family-friendly activities.
