Brisfest is a music and arts festival celebrating local and South West music, art, dance and food. BrisFest has now out-grown its city centre location and is expanding with a move to the Ashton Court estate in 2012 after permission was granted from Bristol City Council. This means the event will have a capacity of 40,000 people over two days on grassland around half an hour's walk from the city centre. This move marks a return of a not-for-profit large scale music festival to the estate, something which has not happened for five years.Organisers
