FRIDAY Open from 7pm – 10.30pm: Opening with a new comedy night featuring Shappi Korshandi and Adam Bloom.
In the Fusion Tent there will be classical music performed by the Spires Philharmonic Orchestra and led by conductor and composer Colin Touchin with 60 musicians and 40 chorus members.
An acoustic evening in the Rhythm tent features local musicians and special guest, Nerina Pallot. There are also poetry readings from poet and novelist, John Burnside in the Paradise Tent followed by fireworks.

SATURDAY Open from 11am – 10.30pm:
The Godiva Carnival, tells the story of Coventry from medieval times up to present day through a Caribbean influenced theatrical carnival on foot setting off at 11am from University Square in the city centre.
There's rock and indie with Hundred Reasons headlining, and The Others, Little Barrie, the Paddingtons, Kid Carpet and Dogs also performing.
Dreadzone are headlining the EcoRhythm night, and there's hip-hop with Rapper Blak Twang, Skinny Man, YunGun and Mr Thing.

SUNDAY from 12 noon – 7pm:
The Fusion Tent hosts live music from the 1940s in support of Coventry’s 60th Anniversary VE celebrations with performances from the Glenn Miller Orchestra UK and King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys. There will be folk music in the Rhythm Tent and local bands in the Spotlight tent. Sunday's finale features the closing ceremony of the International Children’s Games in the arena. The Olympic torch will be handed over to the Lord Mayor of Bangkok who will be representing his city as host of the 2006 Games.

There's also a Greenspace, the Lives and Times project, inflatables and a kids' tent.
