A second muddy year on the trot led to those who didn't fancy repeating the hardships of last year leaving - by Saturday morning the reduced numbers were very obvious. But those who stayed were prepared to party - nothing was going to dampen the spirits.

The Festival had all of the usual entertainments - music, theatre/circus, cabaret/comedy, cinema, the Green Fields, Kidz Field and the markets.

There's two ways to look at the band and performers information:
- Stage by Day
- Alphabetical Listing

The Guardian's official site (was http://www.glastonbury98.co.uk/) is now confirmed as gone forever.
