The dates for the fifth Lounge on the Farm music festival, which takes place at Merton Farm in Canterbury, are confirmed as Friday 8th to Sunday 10th of July 2011.

The latest acts confirmed are Sean Hughes, Phil Kay, DJ Format, Justin Robertson, Barry Ashworth, Adrian Sherwood & Congo Natty (Rebel MC), Fool's Gold, Gwilym Gold, Urban Nerds, Smoke Fairies, ComfyPorn DJs, Big Hair, Amp+Deck, Asteroids, Takin Off, Re:Fried!, Dj Readybreak, and Story Brooks.The headliners are The Streets on Friday, Saturday night it's Ellie Goulding, and on Sunday night Echo and the Bunnymen with Example, Annie Mac, Katy B, The Vaccines, Graham Coxon, Caravan, The Joy Formidable, Johnny Flynn, Cornershop, Devlin, Jamie Woon, Bob Log III, Cast, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, CW Stoneking, Jess Mills, Trophy Wife, Fixers, Chad Valley, Flashguns, Paper Crows, Philip Roebuck, Ellen And the Escapades, Marthas & Arthurs, Lulu & The Lampshades, Alpines, The Milk, Daughter, Cocos Lovers, and more confirmed. The early bird offer has ended. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £105, youth tickets (aged 13-17 on 09/07/2011) are priced at £82.50, child ticket (aged between 6-12 on 08/07/2011) are priced at £50, family tickets which allow entrance of 2 x adults and 2 x kids (aged 6 - 12 years) are priced at £265. A campervan/mobile caravan ticket is priced at £45. Kids aged 5 or under go for a nominal fee of £1.An adult day ticket will be priced at £45, a youth day ticket will be priced at £35, a child day ticket is priced at £22.50. There are also student, student groups (of 10), and teacher offers available.

Aside from the music, there will be plenty of amazing attractions including The Village Green with ciders, beers and food concessions where all the goods are sourced from within a 20 mile radius of the site, a solar cinema, there will also be the Little Lounge and Red Tent to keep the younger crowd occupied and the School Of Rock that will be unearthing Kent's future stars.This year see the festival add an outdoor Main Stage for the first time with five other stage including The Meadows Stage which this year replaces The Further Stage it will remain a haven for an eclectic mix of bands across the musical spectrum. Whilst at The Farm Folk Stage, festival-goers can laze away the day in the sun listening to bluegrass, Americana and traditional folk. The festival gives local bands and musicians a platform upon which to perform alongside established acts from round the country.
Additionally, The Sheep Dip Stage will be hosted by Moshi Moshi, Transgressive Records and Chess Club on subsequent nights, ensuring a slew of cutting-edge bands are presented. Meanwhile, The Cowshed – formerly the main stage of the festival – becomes The Hoe Down. The 2000 capacity tent, kitted out with state of the art sound systems, will turn into the most unique dance arena in the country, keeping the party going till the early hours.
