Park & Ride takes place on Sunday 27th August, from 2pm – 11pm at Mill Road car park, Gateshead Quays.
DJ Shadow will headline a line-up of artists including Cut Chemist, India Arie, cirKus (feat Neneh Cherry), Breakestra, The Bees Soundsystem feat Dennis Bovell, and Bobby Kray and the Unabombers.
There will also be an extensive chill out area, a cocktail bar and large inflatable decorations by Space Cadets.
SummerTyne is the first summer festival to take place on the Newcastle Gateshead quaysides, in and around The Sage Gateshead, and is part of Newcastle Gateshead’s programme of events and festivals for 2006.
