Festival Stage One will be the largest youth dance and young band event in the UK with entry open to dance teams of between 4 and 10 young people aged 13-19 and young bands with members between 13 and 21 years of age.
This event will set new standards by providing every participant with a real learning experience whilst retaining the fun and excitement, and will engage up to 1,000 young people in a weekend programme comprising workshops, master classes and auditions that will provide a potential “gateway” to a career in the entertainment industry.
Every young person will have the opportunity to attend at least three workshops, two master classes, and be auditioned.
Festival Stage One will inspire young artistes to further develop their skills and creativity in music and dance and discover the best new dance/music talent in the UK. The residential weekend will take place at Pontin’s Blackpool Holiday Centre from 24 - 26th November 2006 with Auditions, Workshops, Master Classes and Activities PLUS fantastic Awards.
