THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
This year's Folk Festival has been cancelled following a meeting about financial support from the Local Council. For those that have already purchased tickets, please contact the ticket vendor who will issue a refund.

After the disappointment that Spratton Folk Festival had to be cancelled this year, the core of that steering committee have formed their own not for profit organisation to stage a similar event for 2011 called the Merry Tom Folk Festival. For more information, click here.

====================
Spratton Folk Festival takes place in Spratton, Northamptonshire and will run over three days on the main festival site, starting on Friday 16th July and running through until the evening of Sunday 18th July.

A non-profit, community festival with Morris and dance troupes, music and dance workshops, a children's arts and crafts tent, emergency service displays and presentations, together with other individual entertainers such as storytellers.

There are two stages, the Main Stage and the smaller Music Box Marquee with a second stage to showcase local talent including an open mike session plus a Ceilidh Tent.

Line-up

Adrian Edmondson and The Bad Shepherds to headline on Saturday. Other confirmed bands include Brawth, The Bounty Hounds, Steph McCleod and the Whiney Shuffle, Darrell Mitchell & The Occasional Orchestra, Little Johnny England, The Angels Share, Paul Liddell, and Graham Robins. There are still many more acts to be confirmed.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are available until Monday 22nd June. An adult early bird weekend ticket is priced at £30, early bird youth (aged 12-16 years) weekend ticket is priced at £12. A weekend family ticket is priced at £70 for 2 adults + 2 youths (age 12-16). Day tickets are priced at £8 for Friday, £10 for Saturday, and £8 for Sunday.

On site

A wide variety of stalls is expected including including clothes, musical instruments, food, and alternative therapies. Camping will be available again in the field next door at a cost of around £10 per tent / campervan whether you stay one or two nights. There is a toilet and running water on site. The camping area will be signposted once you get to Spratton.

Facilities

In addition to the usual stalls, bars, morris dancing, children's activities etc, the festival is planning to also offer workshops, opportunities to meet the artistes, and traditional crafts.

Parking

There is parking for around 500 cars plus a bit more space in the village.

More information will be here when available.
