The Supersonic festival, held at The Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham, aims to be an eclectic and experimental playground where new and emergent talent exhibit their skills alongside established and world-renowned practitioners. Whilst the focus is on experimental music, Supersonic acts as an umbrella for creative practice in any media or art form.

Acts for this year's line-up has now been announced and includes Gravetemple featuring Julian Cope, Asva, the first ever European collaboration between Japanese noise stalwart Merbow and fellow countryman and psychedelic demigod Keiji Haino - billed togther as Kikuri, DJ/Rupture feat. Jahdan Blakkamore (who'll headline the Friday night), Parts & Labor, Red Sparowes, Cutting Pink With Knives, Rolo Tomassi, The heads, DJ Scotch Egg, Ove Naxx, Battles, Harvey Milk, Efterklang, Harmonia, Noxagt, Earth, Wooden Shjips, Thrones, Oxbow, Justice Yeldman, Dalek, Orthodox, Black Sun, The Owl Service, Max Tundra, Magnetaphone, Pcm, Einstellung and Guapo. There's also a film programme and exhibitions as well as record and food stalls, flea market, cake and a tequila bar.

Tickets for this event are on sale priced at £65 for the weekend with a limited number of day tickets now on sale, priced as follows Friday £15, Saturday £35, and Sunday £30. To buy tickets click here.
