Moved from its previous July weekend date to October from 2010 onwards, The 8th Supersonic festival takes place at The Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham.

The event curated by Capsule showcases all things avant-garde spectrum, from the eclectic and experimental. The festival offers new and emergent talent alongside established and international acts. Whilst the focus is on experimental music, Supersonic acts as an umbrella for creative practice in any media or art form.

Line-up

Headliners Swans, Michael Rothner's supergroup Hallogallo 2010, and Godflesh playing first UK show in over 10 years, are joined by King Midas Sound, Nicholas Bullen, Zeni Geva, Cloaks (exclusive solo DJ set), Devilman aka DJ Scotch Egg and Dokkebi Q, Jailbreak Feat. Chris Corsano + Heather Leigh, Tweak Bird, Cave, OvO, Blue Sabbath Black Fiji, Napalm Death, People Like Us, Gnod, Voice Of The Seven Thunders, Eagle Twin, Part Wild Horses Mane On Both Sides, Dosh, James Blackshaw, Demons (with Sick Llama), Necro Deathmort, Lichens, Gnaw, Jailbreak, Bong, Melt Banana, Drumcorps, and many more. The event will utilise the venue's many rooms for music, art and film.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale, priced at £75 for a weekend ticket. Day tickets are also available priced at £20 for Friday, and £35 for Saturday or Sunday. To buy tickets, click here.
