ROCK OYSTER unveils over FORTY NEW ACTS for this year’s huge party on the Camel Estuary. Joining previously announced headliners Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Groove Armada and Sophie Ellis-Bextor,
Rock Oyster are delighted to welcome back ex-Fun Lovin’ Criminal HUEY MORGAN who returns to the Festival following a legendary set last year! Huey will be playing out tunes on the Oyster Stage again and we’re sure will bring one hell of a party! Making his Rock Oyster debut, West London’s own ISAAC GRACIE will be playing. The songwriter was swept to fame as a teen, releasing his debut album to huge acclaim in 2018 and is back with a new album on YALA! Records later this year. Rock Oyster also welcomes Cheddar’s very own ‘indie Charli XCX’ JO HILL who we think might be a headliner of the future!
WEST MEADOWS - BRAND NEW FOR 2023
Rock Oyster is pleased to unveil a huge new area for this year’s Festival - WEST MEADOWS a new Wild-West themed, folksy and rootsy area where campers can unwind away from the bustle of the increasingly popular main stage. Sat at the heart of West Meadows, is a brand new stage, named THE HOWL (Cornish for Sun). The Howl will host over fifty acts throughout the weekend including Ferris & Sylvester, Land Of The Giants, Dr Meaker and a whole host more. Nestled alongside The Howl is Rock Oyster’s brand new Craft Ale Bar, showcasing a glug-worthy grouping of local craft ales alongside a selection of local ales from their Brewery Partner Sharps.
Lee Bater, Festival Director – “After the phenomenal success of the last two years, Rock Oyster is now firmly established as Cornwall’s destination food and music Festival. This year will see the Festival having doubled in size since 2021 and we wanted to continue to build out our offering as we grow. We’re excited about the potential to grow West Meadows into something very special and to bring The Howl to Rock Oyster. The Howl gives us another opportunity to showcase the best talent to our discerning family-friendly audience, all on a stage with a very different feel to the Oyster Stage. Alongside our new craft ale bar, Little Fish kids area, fairground and skate ramp. West Meadows also has that incredible view which makes the Festival so unique and special.”
