Acoustic Gathering 2012

The seventh Acoustic Gathering expands to two days, with a Saturday evening concert in order to subsidise the ticket price of Sunday, held in Peasholm Park, Scarborough (North Yorkshire) on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September 2012.

This year the event becomes part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of Peasholm Park.

Line-up

Saturday: (from 6pm) The Lightning Seeds, Chris Helme (Seahorses and The Yards), and Mark Stanley & The Field Notes.

Sunday: 3 Daft Monkeys, John Huthinson & The Sultans Of Thwing, and Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, and more.

The acoustic acts will be performing from the bandstand on the lake under the towering gaze of the gloriously rebuilt pagoda.

Tickets

Tickets for Saturday are priced at £15. Tickets for all day Sunday are priced at £5 with children aged under 12 free. To buy tickets, click here.

On site

All facilities are on site including catering, bar, toilets, festival stalls, kids entertainment area, & as the dusk falls, projections will illuminate the stage, lake and island waterfall. The Community Market is expected to return & will still be located on the putting green, it will be a colourful space with family entertainment and activities. The Market will also have several information stalls hosted by many different community groups with details of what they do and how festival goers can get involved. The market will be running from 11.30am until 6pm on Saturday, although food stalls will run into the night.

There will be plenty of room for families, lots of space to relax and disabled access.
