Alcester Folk Festival 2012

The Summer Alcester Folk Festival will take place from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th June 20112 returning again to The Swan Hotel. It is a well known Singers' festival and features workshops, singarounds and sessions, and real ale, plus performances from a wide variety artists.

Line-up

Acts confirmed this year are Steve Turner, Bram Taylor, Andy Casserley, Belzebub, Colin Pitts, Chris King, Red Shoes, Peter & Barbara Snape, Will Morgan, Hector Gilchrist, Pete Grassby, BarlowCree, Mick McGarry, Barrie and Ingrid, Grey Wolfe, Speake & Lowe, GU4, Laners, Sharp as Razors, Jamie McCoan, Tony Portlock and 'owd yer osses', Copper Kettle, Tony Barrett, Malc Gurnham & Gill Gilsenan, Andy Wall, Alhambra, Tom Patterson & Dave Morton, Noreen Keene, Wild Thyme Border Morris, Ian Pittaway, Loxley, Fairfield, Kitty Vernon & Derek Burgess, White Hart Morris, Step on Board Clog dancers, with more acts still to be announced.

Ticket prices are not confirmed and are not yet on sale.

There is camping which will available for a fee of around £8 per unit, and campers can stay until Monday at no extra charge.
