All Tomorrows Parties curated by Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel has moved from December 2011 to Friday 9th to Sunday 11th March 2012 at Butlins Resort, Minehead, Somerset. ATP is a sponsorship free festival where the organisers and artists stay in the same accommodation as the fans.

Line-up

The event's curator will be Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel, who will also headline the event as will Joanna Newsom, and The Magnetic Fields. Also confirmed are Boredoms, Sebadoh, Low, Scratch Acid, Thurston Moore, Yann Tiersen, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The Fall, Young Marble Giants, Robyn Hitchcock, The Raincoats, The Magic Band, Olivia Tremor Control, The Apples in stereo, Tall Firs, Half Japanese, A Hawk And A Hacksaw, Elephant 6 Holiday Surprise, Lost In The Trees, Mt. Organisers are still speaking to Fleet Foxes, Sun Ra Arkestra and Micachu And The Shapes and hope to confirm them soon.

Tickets

Tickets already purchased are valid for the new event. Tickets are priced at £170 per person for room only and £180 per person for self catering (2 and 6 berth room have sold out). To buy tickets, click here.

Due to receiving many enquiries in the last few years regarding families attending, for this event and moving forward organisers have decided to launch new Family Tickets. For full info on how to book (childrens tickets for ages 5-12 are available for £50 per child) see the ATP website. The ATP site also has info on tickets for under 18s aged above 12.

Refunds

Those who bought tickets and won't be able to attend the rescheduled dates, were offered a refund on tickets, and asked to contact the ticket agency the tickets were purchased with. Applications for refunds must have been made before the end of December.

Deposit scheme

As there is some more time now before the event, the installment ticket scheme has re-opened taking a deposit now of £70 (room only) or £80 (self catered) and ticket buyers can pay the rest of their ticket price by the end of February. See this webpage for details.

Book club

The curator has also picked his group of books for the Book Club. Jeff has chosen the following bookes Aurélia by Gérard de Nerval (1855); The Banquet Years: The Origins of the Avant-Garde in France, 1885 to World War I by Roger Shattuck (1968); Memoirs Of My Nervous Illness by Daniel Paul Schreber (1903); One Hundred Years Of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez (1967); and Silence by John Cage (1973).

Accommodation

Room Only accommodation offers either double, single or bunk beds with private bathroom and TV, but no kitchen facilities or lounge, more like a hotel room. Self Catering accommodation offers private bathroom, full kitchen facilities and separate lounge area with TV. Tickets are selling fast, and Room Only accommodation is available in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 berth rooms, and Self Catering accommodation is also available in 4, 6, and 7 berths.

All tickets include a 3-day festival pass and 3 nights accommodation. Ticket includes performances starting from mid-afternoon, with around 40 acts set to play live across the weekend. There are four pubs and DJ sets through till late.

On site

Butlins Minehead looks out across a sandy beach. The site is equipped with a supermarket, newsagent, cash points and restaurants. Onsite facilities include an ATP programmed cinema, Splash Water World - a sub-tropical environment that has a wave pool, a swimming pool, 3 flumes and also a flume based raft ride - Ten-pin bowling and amusement arcade. Sports include Archery, Football, Basketball, Darts, Petanque, Fencing, Kwik Cricket, Netball, Rounders, Table Tennis, Outdoor Bowls and Crazy Golf.

Getting There by Road

Heading north the simplest route is to take the M5 to Taunton (Junction 25), then take the A358 and A39 to Minehead. Heading south on the M5, you can follow the signposts for the A39 from junction 24. Butlins Minehead Holiday Camp is just half a mile along the seafront road from Minehead town centre.

Getting There by Train

If travelling by train, the nearest main line station to Minehead is Taunton. A bus transfer service is operated by Southern National between Taunton Station and Minehead. This service is available at an additional cost. On Mondays to Saturdays, there's approximately an hourly service, with the last bus leaving Taunton Railway Station at 10:15 pm. On Sundays and Bank Holidays services run every 2 hours from 9:35 am - 9:35 pm. For general information call Southern National on 01823 272033.
