Now in its 32nd year, this annual event is a family friendly mega feast of American music, cars, motorbikes, trucks and RVs. Americana International Festival takes place from Thursday 5th until Monday 9th July 2012 at The County Showground, Newark, in Nottinghamshire.

Line-up

The music is on multiple outdoor stages from dinner time up until late on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday: Jack Rabbit Slim, Lazy Dog, Jester, Union Avenue, Diablos, Eve Selis, Levi Dexter, The Bayou Brothers, Shawn Harvey & the B57s, Nancy Ann Lee, The Blasters, The Doggone Daddys, The Doggone Honkabilly Band, and Relentless.
Saturday: Confederate Railroad, Stacie Collins, Si Cranstoun, Mary Jean Lewis, Truly Lover Trio, Modern Earl, Quill, Accelerators, Donna Wylde, Hayden Thompson, The Polecats, The Firebirds, Nancy Ann Lee, Mark Keeley's Good Rockin' Tonight, Ray Campi, Ellie Dibben, Glenn Darren & the Krew Katz.
Sunday: Fabulous Teddys, Two Tons of Steel, Sandiagos, Danny Fisher, Brian Hughes, Root'n Toot'n, The Twang Masters, Gene Watson, George Hamilton IV, Jerry Richards & the Evening Shadows, Dragster, and The Fret Tones.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £90 per adult for all days, plus £30 camping (per unit) from Thursday, 16-17 year olds £50 for the duration of the festival, Under 16s admitted free if accompanied by a paying adult. Day tickets are available for Sat or Sun £25pp pre booked. Tickets can be bought for a deposit of £15. To buy tickets, call 01159 390595.

On site

There will also be auto/bike displays, children's entertainment, talent contests, flight simulators, a tattooist and line dancing. There are plenty of American food stalls and onsite camping facilities as well as a Fashion Show, Burlesque Dancers, Wyatt Earp Western Shoot Out, Native American Indians, Settlers Encampment, Thousands of Cars, a flight simulator, fun fair and fashion show to keep people occupied.
