Now in its 33rd year, this annual event is a family friendly mega feast of American music, cars, motorbikes, trucks and RVs. Americana International Festival takes place from Thursday 5th until Monday 9th July 2012 at The County Showground, Newark, in Nottinghamshire.

Line-up

The music is on multiple outdoor stages from dinner time up until late on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Friday: P.J. Proby, Tracey K Houston, Randy Thompson, Jay Chevalier, Lazy Dog, Jester, Caravan Of Wayne, Gary Perkins & The Breeze, Gary Quinn, White Doves, The Del Rio Ramblers, The Swing Commanders, The Keytones, and Jerry And The Jive Stars.

Saturday: Georgette Jones, Mandy Barnett, Carl Mann, Will Banister, Billy Yates, The Revolutionaires, Jester, The Doggone Daddys, The Roomates UK, The Slingshots, Henry Smith's Country Dreams, Sonny Walters, Stu Edwards Band 'Gone Country', The Kerr Donnelly Band, Ian Cal Ford & The Brakemen, The C-Sides, and The Black Diamonds.

Sunday: Moe Bandy, The Trevor Burton Band, Aynt Skynyrd, Lazy Dog, Glenn Darren And The Krew Kats, Root'n Toot'n, Raintown, Hicksville Bombers, Mike & The Rhythm Stars, Pig Earth, Bill Kirchen, Vic Oakley, Los Calamares, and This Little Girl & The Dillicats.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £90 per adult for all days, plus £30 camping (per unit) from Thursday, 16-17 year olds £50 for the duration of the festival, Under 16s admitted free if accompanied by a paying adult. On site

There will also be auto/bike displays, children's entertainment, talent contests, flight simulators, a tattooist and line dancing. There are plenty of American food stalls and onsite camping facilities as well as a Fashion Show, Burlesque Dancers, Wyatt Earp Western Shoot Out, Native American Indians, Settlers Encampment, Thousands of Cars, a flight simulator, fun fair and fashion show to keep people occupied.
