The annual carnival, which is essentially a festival with a carnival parade in the middle of it. The event runs on Saturday 21st July 2018 and includes a full day festival event with a main stage programmed with live music.

There is also a city centre wide Carnival procession with live drumming, carnival performers and members of the community, which starts and finishes from the festival site (a park in the heart of Bath).

Music line-up

Expect an announcement of live acts and DJs at around the end of March.

Theme

The theme this year is "Carnival Culture", which will include fancy dress and a round of drop-in workshops at Green Park Station in the preceding weeks to help people with costumes.
