The fifth Bath Folk Festival will be taking place between Saturday 9th and Sunday 17th August 2014 at various venues across Bath, in Somerset, including Beechen Cliff School.

Camping

Festival campsite available (£30 for the whole festival or £20 for a weekend).

Summer school

One of the highlights of the festival is a week-long traditional music summer school. This offers tuition in a range of instruments for 3 hours each day plus access to recitals, sessions and workshops run by top class tutors. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome as classes are tailor-made to the needs of each group.

New Shoots competition

This gives young upcoming folk artists a chance to win a day of recording at the legendary Real World Studios and an opportunity to showcase their talent.

Other events

Also part of the festival is the Bath Artisan Market and celebration of dance (10th August) and Bath City Farm Family Fun Day (16th August).
