Fifteen contrasting stages play host to an array of musicians, including a few musical heavyweights, as well as a selection of local talent. The festival is independently funded and has no involvement in corporate organisations, nor does it receive any sponsorship. The festival has a high attention to detail with every inch of the site taken into deep consideration.

The 15th edition the festival of beats and baaminess takes place in The Ribble Valley, Gisburn, Lancashire, from Thursday 16th until Sunday 19th July 2020.

Line-up

The main Friday headliner is a big secret that will only be revealed on the night. Acts on the bill include Mura Masa, The Wailers, Wilkinson (DJ set) ft MC Ad-Apt, David Rodigan, Nightmares On Wax presents Smokers Delight, Confidence Man, Gaudi, Youngr, KiNK, Beardyman, Everyone You Know, Snapped Ankles, Bou ft Haribo, Prospa, Seb Fontaine, Mr Scruff, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club, Kings of the Rollers, DJ Zinc, and many more.

Tickets

Tickets are on sale, currently priced as follows:-
Adult (3 days) weekend: £165
Youth (13-17) weekend: £90
Child (2-12) weekend: £30
Infant (under-2) weekend: free (but needs ticket)
Car park: £15
Campervan (small): £40
Campervan (large): £60
Car & Caravan: £60

All adult tickets are subject to a £5 refundable litter bond. This will be refunded at the festival when the ticket holder presents a full bag of litter at a litter bond station in the campsite or campervan field.

All children (including with youth tickets) must be accompanied to the festival by a parent, a legal guardian or a nominated guardian over the age of 30.

Beat-Herder prides itself on being a different festival experience to any other and this year festival goers can expect 15 completely unique, craftsman built stages including the mighty Main Stage, the oriental mystery of The Fortress, the heady atmosphere of The Woods, the Trailer Trash Big Top, the cosy Snug, the incredible, authentic Working Men’s Club (step inside, you could literally be in Todmorden in 1971) and many, many more beside.

Fancy dress

The fancy dress theme for 2019 is the letter 'R'. Anything beginning with R, anything at all.

The festival is split into five main areas combining live music, DJ sets, creative workshops, face painting, food, stalls and more.
