Berlin Festival 2014 happens at a new location this year Arena Berlin Park, with the area also host to Club der Visionäre, Hoppetosse and White Trash in Kreuzberg, Germany from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th September, over various venues throughout the city, giving festival goers the full Berlin experience with free entry to over 30 clubs all over the city that never sleeps.
On 3 and 4 September 2014 the SOUND! section will once again host the second First We Take Berlin Showcase Festival, and the weekend will be filled with festival and event formats.

All together, around 70 artists will rock three stages as well as the legendary 'Mobile Disko' with 10,000+ headphones, the Silent Arena after show party will give ticket holders the chance to continue partying after the final main stage closes from midnight till 4am at Tempelhof Airport.
Also returning is the Art Village with over 60 national and international artists. Urban art, murals, performances, sculptures and more will all be on show plus an art bazaar, bars, booths, and the Design & Record Label Market as well as the art prize and a costume competition will complete the Art Village.

A two day ticket is priced at 97.90 euros.
Conference speakers
Anna Acquistapace (Zoo Labs, USA), Vanessa Reed (PRS for Music Foundation, UK) and Paul Resnikoff (Digital Music News, USA) are the first speakers to confirm for this year's WORD! conference at Berlin Music Week.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping, however this year for the first time accommodation will be offered at the festival site. There will be more info on this soon. There are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the city.
