More info

This is a charity event, raising money to support music education and activities on the Blackdown Hills, and there is camping available for £5 per person per night.

The Blackdown Hills Beer and Music Festival was born in 1996 in direct response to the imminent loss, due to budget cuts, of the music teacher at a local primary school. The Festival became a huge success, and every year they have given substantial grants to schools and community groups in the Blackdowns, in line with their belief that everyone, regardless of age, ability, experience or income, should have the opportunity to enjoy making music.

Each year, the Festival gives grants for music teaching to local schools. Without these grants, music would inevitably come very low down on the list of priorities for small schools on a tight budget, and many children might never have the chance to find out what they can do!

More information will be here when available.
