Bloxham May Festival has been cancelled. Organisers made a statement saying, "Regrettably Bloxfest will not be taking place in 2016. A significant number of committee members have decided to retire after 6 years of hard work and this has meant there are not enough volunteers for the festival to take place, so it will be rested for a year.We do intend to have a revamped festival from 2017 onwards, with a wider range of entertainment and activities that will cater for all Bloxham residents, and Apple Day will be extended this year. For the festival to continue in 2017 and onwards we do need new helpers and committee members to come forward, so if you think you can help in any way, however small,we would love to welcome you.We will be inviting all Bloxham residents to join us for for tea and cake in April, date and venue to be confirmed soon, so please come along with your ideas and enthusiasm."

The 7th FREE Bloxham May Festival (BloxFest) takes place at the village of Bloxham in Oxfordshire on Saturday 7th May 2016.

The village festival is to celebrate the community of Bloxham and welcomes all. The festival is located in Old Bridge Road and surrounding establishments.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2016.

Entertainment

As well as music the festival will offer artists, buskers, displays, dancers, wine Tasting, workshops, a barbecue, pig roast, stalls, a country market, Hook Norton Beer, and more.

Entertainments will start from around 10.15am at various locations. There will be stages in the car parks/beer gardens of the three pubs central to the festival. There will be a craft and farmers market in the street, around 40 stalls offering crafts, jewellery and quality food as well as live craft demonstrations.

For kids

The event will also have children's entertainment including a street party for children, along with children’s arts and crafts, a children's pantomime and Punch and Judy show, and more.
