Bowness Bay Blues festival returns for a third year from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th April 2014 in venues surrounding Lake Windermere.

Line-up

Headline acts include The Marcus Bonfanti Band, Sean Webster (back from Down Under), and Midnight Train (featuring Debbie Giles and Sam Kelly), with The Tommy Allen/Johnny Hewitt Blues Duo, The Alex McKown Band, The Swaps, The Brothers Groove, Off the Hook, AWOL, The Bullfrogs, The Elderly Brothers, Tin Pan Alley, Blue Swamp, Buzz Elliott, Dan Burnett, and Slowburner.

The early bird offer has ended. Tickets are priced at £45 for a weekend ticket, a Saturday ticket is priced at £30, a Sunday ticket is priced at £20, and a Friday ticket is priced at £15.

Bowness Bay Blues is organised by the Rotary Club of Windermere, and all profits will go to charity. The Calvert Trust used £4000 funding from the 2013 Bowness Bay Blues weekend to refurbished wheelchair challenge course, and the adjacent path.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
