The 9th Brighton Weekender witnesses the return of Mod Scene to its spiritual home at Brighton over three days on Agust bank holiday from Friday 28th until Sunday 30th August 2015.

All evening events will be held at Brighton's Komedia Theatre in the lanes area. The venue boasts a huge wooden dancefloor with low ceiling and long bar with plenty of seating around the edges complete with kicking sounds system and friendly bar staff!

On Saturday and Sunday's all nighters the Weekender takes over two rooms.

Gemma & The Travellers, Ginger Taylor, Si Bridger, Chris Dale, Yann Vatiste & Craig ‘Swifty’ Simpson, Ham Yard, NUTs Team: Rob Bailey, Lee Miller & Chris Dale + special guests Alan Handscombe, Mary Boogaloo, Paul Molloy, Gary Wall & Scott Fraser Simpson.

Sunday hosts the Scooter competition held outside the Volks at 3pm followed by a cruise to Beachy Head and back with an open decks DJ session both afternoons.

Both days are expected to feature a market selling records, vintage and bespoke clothes, art and memorabilia. And to top off the afternoon entertainment the event hosts a 'Sounds of the Birdcage' exhibition featuring rare Action memorabilia from the book about the legendary '60s Mod band.
