Offering a week of music performances and workshops on the East Devon coast (just down the road from Sidmouth) for lovers of serious and classical music, folk and rock, with events for all the family.
There are performances of chamber music, a piano recital, musicals, plays and singing and many free events in fact more than 60 live concerts and shows during the week.
Otterton Mill is the place for folk music, where Johnny Coppin, Dave Silver, Gordon Giltrap, John Kirkpatrick and Robin Williamson will be playing.
The Limekiln is hosting a rock event, Budstock, on 5th and 6th August with the following bands booked to play: Nuala and the Retrobates; The Worry Dolls; Soft Toy Heroes; The Poppycocks; The Chris Stuckey Band; Rich mans Plaything; The Akibas; Red I; Hombres Imposible; The Kat Williams Band; Rooster featuring Ian Briggs; Kiss My Arse; Audible Porno and the Lamb Quartet. There will be a bar and barbecue and a juice bar too. The music will run from 6pm with local DJs taking turns to play in the band changeovers.
There are also plays, musicals, guided walks, talks and workshops. If you become a 'friend' of the festival (£10), you get a free programme and access to all the events, plus the ticket price - one or two events are limited to 'friends' only.
