Offering a week of music performances and workshops on the East Devon coast (just down the road from Sidmouth) for lovers of serious and classical music.

The sixth Music Festival will commence on Saturday 17th July and continue on Friday 23rd July ending on Saturday 31st July 2010.

This is the sixth year of the Festival. The mix over 8 days will be classical music presented by national and international artists. There will also be a concentration this year on the graphic arts with a special exhibition constructed by associates in the town.

Line-up

The programme of events includes The combined voices of the Budleigh Salterton and Caldicot Male Choirs, Craig Ogden & Judith Hall, The London Adventist Chorale, The Festival Orchestra with Mark Bebbington, New Devon Opera production: La Traviata, Giusseppi Verdi, Mark Bebbington, Pascale & Ami Roge, Chilingirian Quartet, James Gilchrist & Anna Tilbrook, The Festival Orchestra and Chorus with the Devon Junior Choir and James Gilchrist, and The King's Singers.

A very special night is planned for both Friday and the final Saturday but it is too early to announce this just yet.

The usual free lunchtime concerts are expected to be held nearly every day, plus there will be walks, talks and exhibitions to enjoy.

There is expected to be children's events aplenty.

The ticket prices have not yet been announced and are not yet on sale.

Please note this is a non-camping event, there are plenty of accommodation options in the area.
