Offering a week of music performances and workshops on the East Devon coast (just down the road from Sidmouth) for lovers of serious and classical music.

The seventh Music Festival will commence on Saturday 16th July until Saturday 30th July 2011.

This is the seventh year of the Festival. The mix over 8 days will be classical music presented by national and international artists. There will also be a concentration this year on the graphic arts with a special exhibition constructed by associates in the town.

Line-up

The programme of opera, music, and other events includes The Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir with the Exmouth Renaissance Chorus, The Dufay Collective, Clara Mouriz & Joseph Middleton, Liz Grier, Cardiff Polyphonic Choir, Sergey Rachmaninov, Esther, The Honeymead Ensemble, Marie Langrishe, Bethany Partridge, Die Fledermaus, South West Camerata, John Turner and Nicholas Marshall, Hugo Ticciati with Henrik Måwe, Alexandra Dariescu, Gottlieb Wallisch & the Piatti Quartet, Hugo Ticciati, Carmen, Lazarus Quartet, and Gottlieb Wallisch.

The usual free lunchtime concerts are expected to be held nearly every day, plus there will be walks, talks and exhibitions to enjoy.

There is expected to be children's events aplenty.
