ButeFest, the much-loved boutique festival held in the magical setting of Ettrick Bay on the Isle of Bute, is gearing up for its 2024 edition as organisers share an eclectic programme of events.
Taking place from Friday 26to Sunday 28 July 2024at the stunning Ettrick Bay, the festival is famed for its family-friendly ethos, with a full schedule of entertainment, workshops, and activities for families bringing more entertainment to the island than ever before.
Line-up
Over 40 pop, indie and folk acts are set to perform across the weekend, with top Scottish musicians and bands dominating the headline slots, including acclaimed singer-songwriter Callum Beattie, genre-bending trio Talisk, and Isle of Skye fusion legends the Peatbog Faeries.
They will be joined by award-winning electro-trad duo Valtos, celebrated pop pairing The Eves, and returning festival favourites Colonel Mustard and the Dijon 5 for a fun-filled weekend of outstanding live music.

Tickets
Tier 2 adult weekend tickets £120 plus booking fees
Tier 2 youth (13-17 yrs) weekend ticket £45 plus booking fees
Kids under 13 go free but will need a ticket. They also need to be accompnaied by an adult of at least 21yrs
Camping Tent only is £5 with caravan/living-in vehicle ticket £70 plus booking fee
Campsite ticket per person (adult/youth) is £5 plus booking fee
As well as music, expect food and stalls. This event is both adult & kid friendly. Camping options.
Getting there
BY CAR: The ferry terminal at Wemyss Bay is only 40 mins from Glasgow.
BY TRAIN: With regular trains from Glasgow Central Station straight to the ferry terminal at Wemyss Bay. The train ticket can be bought in conjunction with the ferry ticket.
BY PLANE: The ferry terminal is only 40 mins from both Prestwick and Glasgow Airports. Again there are regular bus and train services to the ferry at Wemyss Bay.
