This popular Jazz festival returns over three days at a variety of venues from hotels and cafes to outside in the town square of this small Scottish town.
'Big Bands' confirmed so far are Brass Impact, The Trossachs Big Band, The Tim Barella Big Band, and Red Hot Swing.
'Trad Bands' include The George Penman Jazzmen, Kit Careys Jazzband, Winston's Penine Jazz, and The Diplomats of Jazz.
Plus a number of 'Jazz Sextets to Duos' including Birdland, Jazz Main, Havana Swing, Moodswing, Liquid Jazz, The Bobby Wishart Quartet, The Jess Abrams Trio, The Maria Speight Quartet, Liz MacEwan with the Jack Finlay Trio, The Clyde Jazz Band, Dekal, McAllum/Harrison Jazz Guitar Duo, Claire Daily Trio, and Jan Douglas and Prime Time.
Many 'Blues Bands and Performers' are also confirmed; The Thistle Saxophone Quartet, Lights Out By Nine, Babby Issac, Georgia Crawl, Deep Blue, Daniel Smith Blues Band, The Blues Buddhas, Rev Doc and The Congregation, Blue Dubh, Kent Ducaine, and Gavin Mooney.
Callander is the eastern gateway town within The Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The town is easily accessed from Junction 10 (Stirling) of the M9 and is located astride the A84 about 15 miles from that junction.
