C4R-Fest was conceived by Chris Evans and is an event that combines classic cars, live music and food whilst also raising money for BBC Children in Need.

The Cheshire event returns this year to Bolesworth Castle, happening from Friday 28th to Sunday 30th July 2017, and there's a sister event in the south at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire in late August.

Announced so far are Manic Street Preachers, Busted, Happy Mondays, Cast, Seasick Steve, Texas, Tom Odell, Rick Astley, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Melanie C, Dodgy, Deacon Blue and more.

A weekend adult (aged 17+ years) ticket with camping is priced at £163 or £133 without camping, with children (age 6 to 16 years) weekend with camping tickets priced at £46, or £36 without camping and children aged 5 and under are free and DO NOT require a ticket. A family (2 adults + 2 children) ticket is priced at £326 or £266 without camping. Day tickets are priced at £67 for Friday £15 for children, a Saturday or Sunday adult day ticket is £72 or £15 for children.


A campervan permit is £85. Other ticket options are also available.

A minimum of 25% of the price of each ticket will benefit BBC Children in Need, registered charity number 802052 (England and Wales) and SC039557 (Scotland).

On site

Some of the best cars in the world will be on display. Other attractions for festival goers include kids shows from famous authors, theatre shows, and more. CarFest will also feature a central Arena for performances of all kinds, good food, Glamping and more.

Each year the Track Sprint show kicks off with a selection of machines from the collection of Chris Evans including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and LaFerrari.

CarFest visitors will have the chance to take a passenger ride thanks to The Sporting Bears Motor Club, every Dream Ride raises money for BBC Children in Need.

For those wanting a dash of nostalgia, car clubs will be turning back the clock with special displays in the Vintage Village.
