The Cheltenham Music Festival is a huge summer celebration of live classical music with events ranging from free family workshops and young artists' projects, through to concerts from well-loved performers and the promotion of contemporary composers. The festival will take place from Wednesday 3rd until Sunday 14th July 2013.

Line-up

With over 60 events, the 650 performers highlights will include Highlights of the extensive programme include Nicola Benedetti, Mark Kermode with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, The Swingle Singers, Imogen Cooper, Lawrence Power, Felicity Lott, The Tallis Scholars, James Mayhew with festival director Meurig Bowen, Cheltenham's Symphony Orchestra, and many more.

The Festival has developed over sixty-nine years, and as well as orchestral, chamber, choral and solo music, the festival also boasts education and community projects, a series for young musicians and a lively Fringe, including dance, world music and more.

Tickets

Ticket prices vary depending upon event. In a brand new addition for 2013, the festival is offering concert-goers under 30 a special ticket price of £5. To browse events and purchase tickets, click here.

Venues

Events take place in a variety of venues including the Town Hall, the Pittville Pump Rooms, various local churches, Tewkesbury Abbey and the Everyman Theatre.
