The Chippenham Folk Festival takes place from Friday 23rd to Monday 26th May 2025.

Celebrating its 52nd year and having seen many changes since its beginnings in the village of Lacock many years ago, this festival still retains its 'village' atmosphere, and is packed with song, dance, workshops and dance displays. Over 200 events take place within the town centre.

The main ceilidh and concert events take place in the park by the river. Practically every pub and venue in the town is used for a wide range of sessions, workshops and smaller concerts and dances.

Camping

Camping and caravanning are available to season ticket holders on riverside sites in the centre of the town at around £20 per person for the weekend, kids aged 10-15yrs - half price.
