Cleethorpes Folk Festival is a weekend celebration of folk music, song and dance with workshops and dance sessions. Starting on Friday night at 8pm with a ceilidh, it runs through to beyond midnight on Bank Holiday Monday. The line-up is as follows:
Friday: Roger Beard; Mrs Ackroyd Band; Dan Quinn and Will Duke; The Sands Family and a Welcome Dance with Pigeon English.
Concerts start at 1.30pm and at 7.30pm with a ceilidh at 8pm on the following days:
Saturday:Performers include: Michael Marra; Kerfuffle; Steam Chicken; Dan Quinn and Will Duke; Misé; The Sands Family; Rosie and Lucy Coggle; and Pigeon English.
Sunday: Dick Gaughan; Allan Taylor; Tom McConville and Pauline Cato; Misé Miranda Sykes Band; John Kirkpatrick; Last Nights Fun; and Mr Gubbins Bicycle.
Monday: Jez Lowe and The Bad Pennies; Archie Fisher; Last Nights Fun; Kerfuffle; Shindig; and Lucy Huzzard, Winner of the Wickersley "Young Acoustic Roots Competition" (12-21 yrs).

Throughout the weekend there's Morris dancing, and other dance teams as well as appearances from: Pete Coe; Arthur Knevett; Dave and Julie Evardson; Poncho Pete; Paul Bellamy and Mark Campbell; Earth Bound Misfits; The Mini Morris Company; Bob Wood; Robin Garside; and Dog Branch Cats (USA). For younger audiences there's also face paintiing and a Junior Folk Club and sandcastle building on Sunday.

The festival also has real ale, food (available from breakfast until late evening), craft and music stalls. Camping is available on the festival campsite.
