Organised by Rob da Bank, the second Common People takes place on Southampton Common, on Spring Bank Holiday Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2016, and this year there's a sister event in Oxford.
Line-up
Southampton Common's opening day line-up is topped by Craig David's TS5, and special guests Primal Scream, plus Public Enemy, Gaz Coombes, Ghostpoet, The Sugarhill Gang, Don Broco, West End Kids, and Hospitality.
On Sunday an Duran Duran are joined by Katy B, Jamie Lawson, Kurupt FM, The Cuban Brothers, Chas & Dave, Mr. Motivator, and David Rodigan presents Ram Jam, plus more acts to be announced.
Plus Kurupt FM, Hospitality Takeover with Camo & Krooked, London Elektricity, Fred V and Grafix, Etherwood, Dynamite MC, MC Wrec, Amy Becker, David Rodigan, 99 Souls, Junk: 'Not Your Thing', Denis Sulta, Jordan McKinlay, Luca Pilato, Ronnie Spiteri, Caruana & Daniel O'Rourke , Deaf By Disco, Pete Callard, Foor, and Little Chief.
The Uncommon Stage will be home on Saturday to Lonely The Brave, Tall Ships, Sean McGowan, New Desert Blues, Bel Esprit, Signals, Our Hollow, Our Home, Elixir, and Vicki Musselwhite, while on Sunday the stage will host Palma Violets, Pretty Vicious, Kassassin Street, Science of Eight Limbs, The Rising, Bigtopp, These Septic Stars, and Cassava.

The event will also offer immersive family fun each day with Bestival regulars, entertainers, an array of venues, bars and food including Street Food, Cocktail Bars, the Uncommon Stage, which will be presented by Nightshift in Oxford and The Joiners in Southampton, The People’s Front Room, the Knitting Tent, the Bigtopmania Circus, cocktails galore from The Jam Jar Bar and fantastic arts & crafts, our ace kids area, bouncy castles and more!

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
