The 3rd annual Consett Festival will be taking place on Saturday 23rd until Monday 25th May 2015 at Consett Rugby Club Playing Fields, in Consett, County Durham. Expanding to a third day the Monday will be a shorter day of 11am to 6pm and will consist of acoustic artists predominantly from Consett. Monday will also include, real ale, market stalls, food vendors and children's activities.

Acoustic Anthems, Bitter Sweethearts, Lost In Paradise, Motion Tourist, Nexus, Sleeze Sisters, Soul Street, The Siege UK, The DB Jazz Project, Jack & Dev, The Whoodlums, Chris Justice, Peter and Ged, Ruth McGivern, The Last Fakers, Zoe Bowman, Michael Burns, Dixon Did It, Toxic, Thinman, Slow Moving Targets, Joe And Olly, The Kieran Johnson Band, and more to come.
Expect two full 11am to 10pm days of live music, real ale, kids' entertainment, food stalls, market stalls and some surprises.
Tickets
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, and £6 for teens (aged 13-17 years).
The Monday, bank holiday, will be free entry hence there not being a ticket option for that. Although it is free entry on the Monday we would appreciate a small donation on the gate, voluntary, which will be going entirely to 2 charities.
On site
The Festival offers a full day of live music from 2 stages, family activities and an opportunity for local traders/business people to raise awareness of their business.

The activities for this year have not yet been announced.
The stalls
Expect a range of stalls selling home made jewellery, knit wear, paintings, photographs, music and musical instruments, cakes, personalised pets accessories and local band merchandise.
Food
A traditional catering van backed up with fresh candyfloss, doughnuts and a hog roast.
Drinks
As well as the standard bar drinks there will be a Real Ale tent supplying locally produced Ales and Ciders.
Accommodation
This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.

This is a non-profit festival to help promote the town of Consett and celebrate their heritage. Any profits will be directed back into the following year's festival.
