This event claims to be the MidlandsÂ’ biggest three-day FREE festival, attracting over 70,000 people to an eclectic mix of rock, hip-hop, folk, comedy, poetry, and world music.
The festival takes place at Coventry Memorial Park in the West Midlands from Friday 14th of July to Sunday 16th of July.
Leo Sayer is headliing the Electric Tent on the Friday, while Desmond Dekkers' Aces will be performing a tribute to the late Desmond Dekker in the Rhythm tent.
The Spotlight Tent showcases new unsigned talent. 126 bands entered the G Factor competition to try and win a slot on the Godiva bill; eight bands qualified for the final with one band, Decatone, getting the chance to appear on the main stage on the Saturday.
The Electric Tent is headlined on the Saturday by Mercury Rev. Other artists performing on the stage include The Cooper Temple Clause, Nizlopi, The Fratellis, Blackbud, This is Seb Clarke, and Milk Kan.
Misty's Big Adventure and Break's Co-Op have both been confirmed to play in the Spotlight Tent on the Sunday. For full line-up details to date, click here.
Throughout the weekend local craftsmen wil be giving demonstrations and a variety of organisations will be giving talks to raise awareness on environmental issues. Also taking place at the festival will be the Godiva Carnival, which promises an array of newly created floats and costumes themed on Mother Earth.
