Ireland's complete music and arts festival that offers an array of fine music, theatre, comedy, holistic health and art. Musically it's a more eclectic mix of artists than the other Irish mainstream events.

Pod and Festival Republic present Electric Picnic back to celebrate it's 13th year, and held from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th September at Stradbally Hall Estate, Co Laois - less than an hour from Dublin.

On site

As well as loads of comedy, spoken world, a range of stages, lots of site art and many areas to explore with plenty of catering options and all the normal facilities you'd expect at a festival, and an an emphasis on eco-friendly initiatives.

Tickets

Tickets sold out in March. Full priced tickets were priced at 234.5 euros and Sunday only tickets are 90 euros.

Instalment tickets are also available and can be secured for 84.50 euros. A campervan pass is priced at 70 euros.

On site

The festival will also feature Comedy & Spoken Word, Arts & Theatrics, the Arcadia area, Fosset's Circus, Art Trail, the Body & Soul area, Global Green & Greencrafts, the Eco Picnic, and Amnesty Ireland.

Public transport

Bus Eireann will be operating a bus service to Stradbally from Dublin, Cork, and Galway. Tickets can be booked on buseireann.ie. CoachestoConcerts.co.uk will operate a service from Belfast to the festival. Shuttle buses will operate between Portlaoise train station to Electric Picnic for those wishing to take the train.
