Emma 2010 is a charity music festival organised by the Emma Lucas Trust in order to raise funds for children with brain injury.

The event takes place on Sunday 27th June 2010 from 12pm until 6pm at Buckswood School, Hastings and will have a full music line-up.

Line-up

The event will be hosted by Geoff Sharkey. The acts confirmed are Sambalanco, Titus, Connor Holland, On the Spot, Dan Lapins, The Cajun Dawgs, Dave Paull, Phil Hudson Band, Dave Francis, Logan Wilson, Geoff Sharkey, Local Heroes, Nic Bennett, Ross and the Wrongens, Swing Street Big Band, and Claire Hamill. This is an excellent mix of known local and regional musicians who have a strong local following and all are well worth seeing on their own.

The intention is to raise money for the Parrot Ward in Great Ormond Street Children's hospital and the Child Brain Injury Trust through the local support group for children with brain injury and their families. The objectives are to provide funding for specialist equipment and services for children and families.

Tickets

The price for tickets is £8 per person (£4 for children under 14).

There is a bar and a barbecue as well as other refreshments on site. There are also stalls and entertainment provided for children. There is parking for approximately 250 cars.

All profits will go to the charity fund – there are no administration costs. All are welcome; and volunteers are still needed to help run the event.
