Started in 2006, the organisers aim is to "organise an intimate festival with our favourite artists, and to offer the bands an opportunity to play longer sets, compared to most other festivals." As one of the festival organisers is Swedish, there is also a Scandinavian feel to the festival, with a Scandinavian showcase of up and coming Nordic talent. The dates for 2009 are confirmed as Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September.
The confirmed acts include Fleet Foxes, Explosions In The Sky, The Hold Steady, Mumford & Sons, Malcolm Middleton, Steve Earle, The Horrors, Bob Log III, Alela Diane, Herman Dune, Archie Bronson Outfit, Brakes, Joe Gideon & The Shark, Lay Low, The Low Anthem, Motel Motel, Peter Broderick, Sparrow and the Workshop, Tallest Man on Earth, This Frontier Needs Heroes, The Travelling Band, Emily Barker and the Red Clay Halo, Get The Blessing, The Pack A.D, William Elliott Whitmore, and Whispertown 2000.
