Endorse-It In-Dorset is mainly organised by members of Dorset band Pronghorn, and has an old school festival flavour. There's no corporate sponsorship and it's a safe, family friendly festival which takes place near the village of Sixpenny Handley. The festival has built a reputation for quality entertainment at an affordable price.
Expect a decent smattering of old punk acts, a fair amount of ska, as well as dub and festival circuit acts, and a wide range of other musical styles also represented (except pop). The campsite is outside the arena which is compact and easy to traverse around.
The festival has a few interesting traditions like Ladies Day, Cider Sunday, and a strong Dorset flavour including a town crier or two. The festival also has site art by the Wreckon crew, a campsite shop, and a double decker bus. As well as music there's comedy, off the wall themed events, Burlesque, belly dancing, a healing area, and late night DJs.
The festival offers large open sided tented for sun/rain shelter, as well as a merchandising stall offering an amusing programme at a sensible price and a CD is made each year of many of the acts you'll see whilst you're there.
