Kendal Calling returns for its 20th anniversary celebration from July 31 to August 3, 2025, bringing four days of unforgettable music, exploration, and entertainment to Lowther Deer Park in the Lake District. The festival, known for its unique blend of top-tier music and magical ambiance, has revealed its headline acts and over 80 additional artists in what promises to be its most spectacular event yet.
Headliners and Line-Up Highlights
Leading the 2025 lineup are Courteeners, Fatboy Slim, The Prodigy, and Kaiser Chiefs. Each act is set to bring its unique sound and energy to Kendal’s iconic main stage. Courteeners, who captured the crowd in 2019 with frontman Liam Fray’s dynamic set, return with hits like "Not Nineteen Forever" and tracks from their new album, Pink Cactus Café. Fatboy Slim, legendary for hits like "Praise You" and "Right Here, Right Now," is ready to bring his high-energy, genre-defining set to Kendal's enthusiastic crowd.
The Prodigy, known for their pioneering techno-punk sound and iconic songs like "Firestarter" and "Breathe," will make their Kendal Calling debut, promising a powerful performance. Indie rock icons Kaiser Chiefs, led by Ricky Wilson, complete the headliner lineup, celebrating two decades of their hit-filled career.

Kendal Calling 2025 will also feature The Last Dinner Party, Travis, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor with her famous track "Murder on the Dancefloor." Rock and indie favorites like Maximo Park, The Lottery Winners, and Scouting for Girls will perform, alongside soul star Corinne Bailey Rae and comedian Jason Manford for added entertainment.
Festival regulars like Skindred, The K’s, Reverend & The Makers, and Daniel Bedingfield will also take the stage, promising an eclectic mix of styles. Attendees can look forward to unique sets from Tim Burgess with the Royal Northern College of Music Orchestra and indie stalwarts, Inspiral Carpets. Kendal’s late-night scene will continue to thrive with Mr Scruff and DJ Yoda, as well as local live dance act Lowes.
Tickets and Pre-Sale Information
Tickets went on sale in August, with over 70% sold out due to overwhelming demand. Fans are encouraged to sign up for the Kendal Calling pre-sale to secure their spot at the festival’s 20th celebration. The next wave of tickets will go on sale on the 4th of November, with a pre-sale starting on the 2nd of November at 10am.
