Exeter Respect is the city's annual FREE celebration of diversity when we use performing and creative arts to promote multi-cultural understanding and say no to racism and all forms of prejudice. The event takes place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June from 12 noon until 6pm at Belmont Park, Exeter.

World Big Top
Saturday: Mas Bajo, The Maguires, Mazaj, Bragatanga, and Zambula.Sunday: Hazaar, African Odyssey, Ilu Axe, N.U.M.B., and 3rd Degree Leburn.
With compere Mama Tokus and deejays between acts.
Global Community Stage
Saturday: Sound Waves learning disability project, Ben & Alfie Weedon's 'Taxi to Djali Kunda',Louisa Adjoa Parker poems & stories, Hissa Al-Badi Iranian poems & oud, Pixie Maz drama & fun, Rama acrobatics, Devon Youth Djembe Ensemble with Denis Kigonga, Samba Marcianas junior samba band, Rama second show, Niks didg & Baron, Dr Joel 'Konnakol' Indian vocal percussion, Kagemusha Junior Taiko Japanese drumming, Rhythm City breakdancers, and Voices In Common choir.Sunday: Wolf & Water hiphop show, Newtown Primary School Indian and Zulu performances, Alphington School Ugandan twinning project, Dan Brazier comedy juggler, Global Harmony choir, Chinese performances: Hulusi ('Oriental saxophone') and fan dance, Dance In Devon Showcase inc. On Saturday Exeter City Council's Playday team present a wide range of children's activities including Play Rangers, Woodcraft Folk, story-telling, face-painting, mask-making and more. On Sunday Exeter University's Guild of Students host a range of activities and we present the amazing 'man vs. machine' stunt cycling & free-running show which pitches world top-ten stunt cyclist Andrei Burton against international ace free-runner Kie Willis! Stunt Bike Demos at 1pm, 2.30pm and 4.30pm.Bollywood Style Cafe-Bar

The Respect movement started in London two decades ago, and events now take place across the country. Their motto is: All different, All equal...Respect!
