Exeter Respect is the city's annual FREE celebration of diversity when we use performing and creative arts to promote multi-cultural understanding and say no to racism and all forms of prejudice. The event takes place on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June from 12 noon until 6pm at Belmont Park, Exeter. Last year over 20,000 people attended the event.
Line-up
Saturday: Dakar Audio Club, Spin2, Pillars, The Simmertones, Zuri Aura, The Cut-Ups, Propellor, Marginalia, Alex Kumar, Owen Penrice, Kevara, Dmitry Babichev, Rosa Rebecka & Exeswedes, Harry Vinnicombe, and Tina Bridgman.
Sunday: Ombiviolum, Hothouse Band, Gypfunk, Count To Fire, The Big V, The Skull Kids, Sound of The Siren, India Electric Co (featuring Cole Stacey), Adam Sweet, Alchemists Wardrobe, Dave Wood / Rifiki, Miss B & Mama T, Jess Mcallister, Claibekas, and Spectrum.

Expect Diversity Stage, NEW Phonic FM Outdoor Stage, Cafe Stage, Play Area, Dance Workshops, NEW Music Workshops, Stories, Cabaret Tipi, Fire Service Demos, Campaigns, Communities, NEW Wellbeing Zone, Food Licenced Bar and a celebratory atmosphere.
The Respect movement started in London two decades ago, and events now take place across the country. Their motto is: All different, All equal...Respect!
