Exeter Respect is the city's annual FREE celebration of diversity when we use performing and creative arts to promote multi-cultural understanding and say no to racism and all forms of prejudice. The event takes place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June from 12 noon until 6pm at Belmont Park, Exeter. Last year over 20,000 people attended the event.

Line-up

Diversity Stage: Batch Gueye Band, Melosa, Lionstar, The Skull Kids, Cavemouth, Helele, Ten Percenter, Hazaar, The Summertides, The Iscatels, Grice, Dakar Audio Club, Five Finger Discount, Concrete Donkey, and Mya Stevens.

Community Stage: Soundwaves, Get Changed Theatre Company (Wolf & Water), WESC Foundation, International Taijiquan & Shaolin Wushu Association, Devon Capoeira Community, India Dance South West, Charline Marzin, Ameeradance, Dansci Exeter, Flute Cake, Crediton World Music Choir + Ploughcapella, Rhythmo, Exeter College Jazz Project, Bulgarian Society Devon, Big Noise Chorus, Exeter Flamenco, Urbanflow, Kalash Tribal, Spectrum LGBT Choir, Marginalia - Includes Community Ceilidh, Hannah's All Stars Band, Exeter University Big Band.

Lawrence Stage: Groups From The Collective, All Tomorrow's Parties, Adapt Dance Group, Clash Dance Group, Exeter Roots Band, Singing Roots, Just 4 Funk Break Dance Performance, The Travelling Timewasters, Holly Morwenna, Charlotte Ward, Corvidae, The Inflatable Funk Train Of Love, Singing Workshop (Led By Sarah Owen Of Wren Music), and Street Dance Workshop (Led By Lou Latham Of Urbanflow)

Expect Diversity Stage, NEW Phonic FM Outdoor Stage, Cafe Stage, Play Area, Dance Workshops, NEW Music Workshops, Stories, Cabaret Tipi, Fire Service Demos, Campaigns, Communities, NEW Wellbeing Zone, Food Licenced Bar and a celebratory atmosphere.

The Respect movement started in London two decades ago, and events now take place across the country. Their motto is: All different, All equal...Respect!
